When and How to Moisturize Your Face

Moisturizing your face is something that you do daily, so you should probably be doing it every morning and every evening. If you are not doing it every day, you’re probably not moisturizing enough.

One reason why you should moisturize every day is that it prevents oil on your face from forming. You don’t want to be oilier than you have to be.

But if you want to moisturize every morning and every evening, the question is when you should start. The best thing to do is to do it right when you get out of bed.

After a week or so of just having your face go through a day and night, your skin will start getting dry and itchy. And if you start moisturizing right away when you get out of bed, your skin will take a little longer to dry out and you can get rid of that dry, itchy feeling.

But if you wait until you’re sitting down to moisturize your face, your skin has already had a chance to dry out so it’s going to feel less greasy and itchy.

We are not telling you to put the moisturizer on the minute you get up. However, if you wait until you’re sitting down to moisturize your face, it will feel better when you put it on.

How to Apply Face Moisturizer

First, here is what you need:

Face Moisturizer. Find a moisturizer that has an SPF of at least 10 and preferably 30.

The trick to applying moisturizer is to use a tiny amount. Don't go overboard! If you go too far, the moisturizer will start to pull at your skin and make it look shiny.

Apply a moisturizing cream with a finger.

Rub the moisturizing cream onto your face and let it dry.

When you apply a lotion or cream to your skin, it penetrates deeply and nourishes your skin. When you use this method to moisturize your skin, your skin becomes plump and soft.

However, you should be careful when you use moisturizing cream. Some creams are too thick, so if you use too much of them, it may irritate your skin. To avoid this, you should first test it on a small spot on your skin and apply it only until it feels good, then apply it over your whole face. After you moisturize your skin, wash it thoroughly.

This step is for beginners as well as experts. It is a process of applying a face moisturizer to your face to keep it in a youthful glow. For beginners, you can use moisturizer as a base layer on your face before applying any kind of foundation to get a smoother look. For experts, you can start applying foundation or concealer with this base layer.

After this process, make sure that you wash your face thoroughly. You can do this by either taking a good washcloth or a cleansing sponge and gently wiping away all of the dirt and dead skin that you don’t want to apply to your face.

To make the moisturizing process a bit easier and faster, you can use one of the available face scrubs.
